Mental Health Nurse

Our Adult Mental Health Inpatient team are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Nurses to join our friendly team, who provide skilled care to adults who require an inpatient admission.

We are recruiting to two wards called Hawthorn Ward and Maple Ward in The Orchards unit which forms part of the Acute Care Pathway. The Hawthorn Ward is for Acute Admissions and the Maple Ward is for Psychiatric Intensive Care. They both primarily look after working age adults (18-65 years).

To be a successful applicant you will need to be a Registered Nurse, preferably with some experience of working with those who have a mental health condition. You must provide compassionate care to patients and their families.

You will play an important role in the team as we aspire to provide excellent care to our patients and develop our service in line with national and local guidance. You will be expected to work within the wider MDT implementing and evaluating care. You will supervise junior staff and students within the team.
