Bring your clinical expertise to our client’s well-established hospital system in the Bronx as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in wound care. Join a supportive, mission-driven organization. This role offers a true Monday–Friday, 9-to-5 schedule with no weekends and no on‑call.

The annual base salary range is $145,000 to $155,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage patients with acute, chronic, and non‑healing wounds
  • Treat diabetic foot ulcers, pressure injuries, vascular/venous ulcers, and complex surgical wounds
  • Perform comprehensive histories, physical exams, and detailed wound assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team
  • Order and interpret labs, cultures, imaging, and vascular studies as needed
  • Identify candidates for hyperbaric oxygen therapy and other advanced healing treatments
  • Coordinate care with vascular surgery, podiatry, infectious disease, endocrinology, and nursing
  • Educate patients and families on wound care, infection prevention, and recurrence prevention
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support quality improvement initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Active NY Nurse Practitioner license (FNP-BC or AGNP-BC)
  • Wound care experience preferred — certification not required
  • Comfort working across both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills within a multidisciplinary team
