Certified Nursing Assistant – Long Term Care

Schedule:

Part Time: 24 hours, with 2 shift or 3 shift rotational options.

Assignment Details:
Additional details regarding the length of the contract and guaranteed hours per week will be provided.

Requirements:

• New York State Nursing Assistant Certification Required
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI certs only)
• One (1) year of previous long-term care experience
• Must be licensed for at least one year

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in their care plans.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents, including responding to call lights promptly.
• Ensure that resident nutritional needs are met in accordance with their preferences and care plans.
• Support residents' rehabilitative needs by providing assistance with restorative care activities.
• Report changes in resident status or concerns to the supervising nurse in a timely manner.
