The Research Nurse for Cardiology Clinical Trials at NYU Langone Health will manage a growing portfolio of clinical research studies, ensuring adherence to protocols and compliance with regulations. • Manage investigational product handling, including verification and education on drug usage.
• Collaborate with investigators to recruit, enroll, and retain patients in clinical trials.
• Oversee clinical coordination of patient schedules to ensure protocol adherence.
• Update and submit documents required by the NYU Institutional Board (IRB).
• Secure signatures and forward documents to appropriate destinations timely.
• Track and maintain study regulatory status and compliance.
• Assist with the informed consent process, ensuring patient understanding.
• Collect patient information for research projects, including data abstraction.
• Use tools for data collection and audit/update databases or case report forms.
• Ensure reporting of Serious Adverse Events per regulatory requirements.
• Conduct study visits and document information within specified time frames.
• Compile and analyze data for reports to sponsoring and regulatory agencies.
• Assist in grant applications and related activities, including proposal development.
• Help identify new potential sponsors for trials and research as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience required.
• Prior RN experience in a clinical setting preferred.

• Current NYS RN License required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
