• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• 3 years of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.
• BSN completion preferred.

• Candidates must have a Hawaii license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/

Experience:

- Three (3) or more years ICU Staff RN experience excluding travel assignments in large tertiary/qua ternary, Level 1 trauma centers.

Preferred Skills/

Experience:

- Experience in mixed Medical/Surgical ICU and/or specialty ICUs preferred.

- CRRT experience desired.

- Previous ICU Float Pool experience highly desired.

- Previous Queen’s Health System ICU traveler experience highly preferred.

Required Credentials:

- Must pass EKG exam with a score of 80% or better during orientation.

Special Requests:

- Prefer talent without RTO; however, limited RTO will be approved after 30 days on assignment.

Unit Details:

- Medical ICU cares for pulmonary, renal, and sepsis patients.

- Surgical/Trauma ICU at a Level 1 trauma center.

- Cardiac/CVICU includes open-heart, ECMO, LVAD, and transplant patients.

- Neuro ICU includes Neuro IR/neurosurgery and primary stroke care.

Shift & Scheduling:

- Rotating AM/PM shifts.

- Holidays as required.

Floating Requirements:

- Float to stepdown or telemetry units based on operational need.

- If not needed on their unit or a similar unit as an RN, may be assigned as a nursing assistant or safety sitter.
