LPN Weekend Doubles

PAYING $50 AN HOUR

LPN — Kings Harbor Multicare Center, Bronx — $50/hour

Reports to an RN on the nursing unit. New York LPN license and graduation from an accredited nursing school required.

Schedule:

Every weekend, or doubles on weekends. Overtime and emergency callback (weather, utility failure, evacuation) as needed.

Duties:
Direct care for Kings Harbor residents per the care plan, facility policy, and nursing standards. Medications, treatments, vitals, and diabetic checks; watch for side effects. Controlled-substance counts and MAR/TAR review. Pick up and transcribe physician orders. Charting, shift report, and progress notes. Admissions, transfers, discharges, and hospital transfers, including family notification. Care-plan meetings. Unit rounds, supply pars, tray distribution, and call-bell response.

Care of the dying resident. Report changes, complaints, and safety issues to the RN or Nursing Administration. HIPAA.

Requirements:
Lift, push, and pull 50 lb. Stand, walk, and bend across the facility. On time, in dress code with e multiple tasks and upset residents or families. Keep license current on file.
