• Performs other duties aligned with the mission and values of the organization.
• Demonstrates personal accountability for professional practice and growth.
• Documents patient assessment, reassessment, and progress toward goal achievement accurately and timely.
• Promotes patient safety and quality, including adherence to National Patient Safety Goals.
• Communicates and collaborates effectively with healthcare team members, escalating situations appropriately.
• Establishes effective caring relationships with staff, patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Administers medication and parenteral therapy in accordance with policy and procedure, including blood administration.
• Establishes priorities for patient care delivery and coordinates patient care responsibilities independently or by delegating.
• Provides patient/family education and assists in discharge planning, considering readiness and barriers.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care based on age-related criteria pertinent to the patients served.

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

• Pediatric experience preferred

• Current Registered Nurse License in NYS
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
• PALS required within 6 months
