Women’s Services RN (OB-GYN & Maternity) – Nights | Up to $30K Sign-On Bonus

Full-Time Nights | North of Syracuse, NY

Join a close-knit Women’s Services department that supports OB-GYN and Maternity patients in a community hospital setting. This is a welcoming, stable environment with a strong mix of experienced nurses and newer RNs, where staff are known to work together, train well, and take pride in delivering excellent care.

As a Women’s Services RN, you’ll provide safe, compassionate nursing care while working collaboratively with physicians and an interdisciplinary team. You’ll care for a variety of patients across OB-GYN and Maternity services while building strong clinical skills and confidence.

• Deliver total nursing care to patients of all ages appropriate to the unit
• Assess, plan, provide, and evaluate patient care as part of the healthcare team
• Educate patients and families based on learning needs and discharge planning
• Maintain high standards of asepsis and infection control during all patient care
• Monitor patient status, recognize abnormalities, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications safely through all accepted routes with accurate documentation
• Carry out and transcribe physician orders correctly per policy and procedure
• Document clearly, accurately, and timely in the medical record
• Maintain patient safety through routine preventative measures and best practices
• Support teamwork, delegate appropriately, and use chain of command when needed
• Cross-train for charge responsibilities across two Women’s Services units

Required

• Active New York RN license

Preferred (but Open And Flexible)

• Women’s Services / L&D / postpartum / OB-GYN experience (highly desired but not required)
• 1+ year Med-Surg experience (strongly preferred)
• New grads may be considered if they are sharp, motivated, and can show a strong clinical rotation and interest in Women’s Health
