Sage Group Health Care  Staffing is seeking Travel RN Med Surg for a travel / contract position in Glens Falls, NY. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Pay Rate:

Range $2200 to $2350 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Unit: Med Surg, Tele

Shift:
12 Hours;
Nights, 7.00p – 7.30a

Schedule: 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 or 4 shifts per week, every other weekend(48 hours per week available)

Position Requirements:

• Registered Nurse: 2 years - Required
• Med Surg Nursing experience:
  Recent/Current 2 years – Required
• Float to other units including Med-Tele units and Oncology units - Required
• Oncology experience – Highly preferred but not required
• Prior Travel / Contract experience – Required
• Covid Vaccinations - Encouraged

Education, License and Certification Requirements:

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
• RN License for State of NY - Required
• BLS Certifications from AHA
  - Required

Job Description:

• Provide all aspectsof Nursing care for patients in Inpatient Med Surg Units and float to other units including Med Tele and Oncology units as needed
• RN essential functions include, but are not limited to:collaboration with other health professionals, assessment, analyzing assessment data, establishing goals, planning care strategy, establishing priorities of care, implementing care, delegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care, evaluating responses to interventions, and performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation
• Assesses ormanages the care of patients, or provides direct patient care.
• Records information concisely, accurately and completely.
• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
