The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a residential setting and within the community.
Palmer Center is located in Kingston, and is very close to shopping and the Rhinecliff Bridge.

Our Palmer Center includes three homes, with beautiful outdoor space. Everyone is looking forward to the warmer weather and enjoying time outside...the people who live at Palmer love learning about plants, caring for them and beautifying their home - inside and out!

A high school diploma or GED is desired. Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus. An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must. An informative, paid new hire orientation is provided in a comfortable learning environment. Training will also include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration certification.
HOURS:
40/Friday through Tuesday/7:00 am to 3:00 pm
STARTING SALARY: $
22.26to $ 24.29
per hour, for working at this location (which includes a $2.00 per hour differential over the Palmer Full-Time DSP base salary range of $20.26 to $ 22.29 ),
plus applicable shift differentials may be added.
