Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Skilled Nursing
Location: Middletown, NY
Job Type: Part-Time | Per Diem
Pay: $38.00/hour
Shifts: All Shifts Available
Schedule: Thursday-Sunday | Flexible Scheduling
Our client is seeking dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide direct nursing care in a skilled nursing facility. This is a great opportunity for an LPN looking for flexible per diem work while making a difference in the lives of geriatric residents.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to residents.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the RN or physician.
- Accurately document resident care and medical information.
- Provide compassionate support to residents and their families.
- Follow infection control, safety, and facility procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the nursing and care team.
- Active New York State LPN license.
- 1+ year of relevant nursing experience required; 2 years of geriatric or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented.
- Current CPR certification and required medical clearances prior to starting.
- Provide your availability for the full month to assist with scheduling.
- Complete two mandatory buddy shifts before picking up shifts independently.
