We're looking for Medical Surgical RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Penn Yan, NY. The right RN should have 1–2 years recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements.

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patients.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed by physician.

Physical requirements:

stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty; lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certification.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ** Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.**

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
