Registered Nurse - Med Surg - ST

United Health Services (UHS) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join their patient-focused care team. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

• Pay: $40.70 - $61.05 per hour, depending on experience
• Location: Johnson City, NY
• Facility: UHS Wilson Medical Center
• Department/Unit: South Tower 4 Med-Surg Telemetry
• Schedule: Full-time, Rotating

• Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care to adult medical-surgical patients requiring continuous care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Build relationships with patients and families to enhance their care experience.
• Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.

Education:

• A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred

Experience:

• Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current NYS RN License required
• Professional certification in a related nursing specialty preferred
• Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned preferred
