Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. The role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, applying the nursing process, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. The nurse will prioritize patient care, educate patients and caregivers, and ensure a therapeutic relationship with patients and families.
Additionally, the role includes responsibilities in quality and safety practices, operations, and professional development.
Required Qualifications:
• Active NYS RN License
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• 2 years of medicine and chemotherapy experience
• 1 year of travel experience (required for travel positions, not for per diem)
Preferred Qualifications:
• EPIC experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program

• Average Unit Census: 35.1
• 36 Beds per Unit
