Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position in a high-acuity, fast-paced medical-surgical environment. Located on the 3B/3C Stroke Telemetry Unit, this role involves providing specialized nursing care for acute stroke and complex telemetry patients. The position emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, patient safety, rapid intervention, and adherence to evidence-based protocols.

  Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Active state license, ACLS, BLS, NIH certification, ability to read basic rhythm strips, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

  The 3B/3C Stroke Telemetry Unit is a 34-bed unit dedicated to delivering protocol-driven, evidence-based care for patients with acute stroke and telemetry needs, with a focus on safety and rapid response.
• Responsibilities & Expectations:
  Performing and documenting frequent neurological assessments including NIH Stroke Scale, monitoring and interpreting telemetry rhythms, responding to changes, ensuring compliance with stroke core measures, administering medications safely, coordinating interdisciplinary care, managing admissions and discharges, and maintaining a focus on falls prevention, skin integrity, and patient safety.
• Additional Information:
  Must have ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications, and the ability to read rhythm strips prior to start. The position requires working in a high-acuity, collaborative environment with a focus on swift, accurate patient care.
