Position OverviewNurse America is seeking an experienced Travel Med Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Utica, NY. This position is ideal for an RN with strong medical-surgical and post-surgical patient care experience.
Previous travel nursing experience is required.
Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,500/weekly
Unit Details- Unit Type: Medical Surgical (MS)
- Patient Population: Adults
- Common Diagnoses: Post-surgical care, abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, morbid obesity, and bariatric surgery
- Specialty Equipment: IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
- Charting System: EPIC
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Floating: Required as needed
- Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed
Hours:
36 hours per week - Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
- No on-call requirement
- Active New York RN License
- Minimum 2+ years of Medical Surgical experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA BLS Certification
- EPIC EMR experience
- Current specialty-specific skills checklist
- License verification for New York and all other active RN licenses
- Current resume documenting relevant Med Surg and travel nursing experience
- RTO must be disclosed at the time of submission
- Valid driver's license with address matching candidate demographics
