** Registered Nurse 3B/3C Acute Inpatient
** As a Registered Nurse on our 3B/3C Acute Inpatient Units you will be provided flexible scheduling, a collaborative team atmosphere, and a dynamic environment that sharpens your skills. You will play a vital role in patient care, gain continuous learning opportunities and enjoy job security in this essential high demand field.

* Roles and Responsibilities:

**** Assess patients with a variety of needs. Use a person-centered care approach in the development of care, and effectively prioritize patient needs that are both expected and unanticipated.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact with other health care professional and patients.
* Demonstrate competence and resourcefulness in the implementation of the technical skills required to care for the patient. Demonstrates initiative in remaining current in the organization and department policies, procedures, and standards.
* Evaluates effectiveness of care giving, shows follow through on delivery, demonstrates critical thinking skills by making appropriate clinical decisions, proactively addresses actual and potential problems, and executing compliant clinical documentation.
* Assist with educating patients and families and serves as a resource on department standards for patient care.
* This is a full-time position that includes weekend and holiday rotation.

Skills and Experience:

**** Graduate of an accredited nursing program and eligible to obtain a New York State limited permit
* Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure.
* Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Stroke certifications before completion of the introductory period.

**** Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
* Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred
