Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Queens This role involves providing direct patient care in a large acute care hospital setting. The position requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, as well as collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.

  Responsible for evaluating medical information, administering medications, changing dressings, inserting catheters, starting IVs, and monitoring patient vitals. The role includes patient education, discharge planning, and maintaining medical records, adhering to nursing standards and protocols.
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institute;
  New York State RN License & Primary Source Verification; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS); AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (Queens only); 0.0 years of experience required.
• Schedule:
  
  Days shift, 11.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 34.5 hours per week.
• Additional Information:
  Skills include physical assessment, medication administration, wound care & infection control, IV therapy, post-operative care, patient education, and telemetry monitoring. EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred.
