Location: Potsdam, NY | Inpatient / Critical Access

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 6 overnight call shifts within a 2-week period | Two scheduling options available:

• Option 1 – Three consecutive 12-hour overnight shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), provider selects 3 nights between Monday–Thursday
• Option 2 – 8-hour day shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) followed by home call (3:00 PM–7:00 AM), working Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday with post-call days off on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Key Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia services in an inpatient setting, including OB anesthesia and epidural placement
Administer general anesthesia and manage perioperative patient care
Schedule and support surgical cases as needed
May involve CRNA supervision responsibilities
Maintain comfort and competency in a rural, critical access hospital environment
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
Active New York State CRNA license required
Board Certified (board eligible candidates will be considered)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA or RQI accepted)
Epic EMR experience required
Must be comfortable working in a rural, critical access setting
Residents and Fellows are not eligible for this position
While on call, provider is expected to remain within a 20-minute radius of the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with OB anesthesia, epidurals, and general anesthesia in a low-volume or critical access environment
Prior experience with CRNA supervision or leadership responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to manage a patient volume of approximately 10–15 patients
