Description:Healthcare United is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a full-time, permanent cardiothoracic surgery practice in northern Illinois, near Cherry Valley. This opportunity focuses on cardiothoracic surgery care within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Clinical responsibilities include Provide operating room and inpatient cardiothoracic surgical care;
Assist with surgery within licensed and credentialed scope;
Collaborate with surgeons and critical care colleagues. The provider will coordinate patient care with clinical colleagues and practice within their licensed and credentialed scope.
Qualified applicants should bring appropriate specialty training and credentials and a collaborative approach to patient care. Master's degree from an accredited advanced practice nursing program Illinois APRN licensure and appropriate national certification. Specific practice expectations and onboarding needs will be reviewed with qualified applicants.
The published compensation range is $150,473-$166,302 annually. The role includes full-time; exact schedule to be confirmed. Call expectations to be confirmed.
Requirements- Master's degree from an accredited advanced practice nursing program
- Illinois APRN licensure and appropriate national certification
- NP applicants must hold RNFA credentials
- Cardiothoracic surgery, critical care or cardiac experience preferred
- Active DEA registration or ability to obtain before hire
