• Unit features:
  Med Surg Tele with ED Hold; float to tele units as needed (R5, R6, R7)
• Orientation:
  Bi-weekly on Mondays; next available 11/02
• Holidays and scheduling: 2 out of 3 major holidays required; rotating schedule

• Provide direct nursing care for Med Surg Tele patients, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy and IV pumps, perform blood draws (including central lines when applicable), and conduct bladder scans
• Perform timely glucose monitoring and respond to patient changes with appropriate escalation
• Document in EPIC and maintain accurate, compliant charting; ensure clear communication with the interdisciplinary team
• Support ED Hold patients and participate in float coverage to R5/R6/R7 Tele units as needed
• Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and adhere to unit protocols and safety standards

• Active New York RN license or proof of application with applied date
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; at least 1 year in Med Surg Tele
• BLS required; NIHSS required prior to starting
• Epic experience within the past 2 years
• CMSRN certification preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float to ED Hold/Tele units as needed
• Orientation and start timing: must be ready to start within the next 2 weeks
