1:1 School Nurse (LPN) – Transportation & School Day
Job Summary Clinical Staffing Resources is hiring a 1:1 School Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one nursing care to a medically fragile student on the school bus and throughout the school day. You will be the student's dedicated nurse from pickup to drop-off, giving safe, skilled care and keeping the family, school, and physician informed.

Full-time, school-year position
Pay: $42.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8-hour days (40 hours per week), including morning and afternoon bus runs; no nights or weekends, and the schedule follows the school calendar
Active LPN license; pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
Benefits: Health, vision, and dental insurance; weekly pay with direct deposit
Provide continuous one-on-one nursing care to your assigned student in the classroom, cafeteria, therapy sessions, and special events
Follow the student's physician orders, Individualized Healthcare Plan (IHP), and Emergency Action Plan
Give medications and treatments as ordered, including nebulizers, G-tube feedings, catheterization, and diabetic care such as glucose checks and insulin
Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, oxygen therapy, and ventilator or pulse-oximeter monitoring when ordered
Monitor for and respond to seizures, respiratory distress, allergic reactions, and other medical emergencies, including calling 911
Document vitals, care, medications, and incidents accurately and on time
Partner with teachers, aides, therapists, and the school nurse so the student can take part safely in daily activities
Communicate with parents or guardians, physicians, and your Clinical Staffing Resources clinical supervisor about changes in the student's condition
Practice within your LPN scope under the direction of the supervising RN or physician, as defined by your state nurse practice act
