The Pavilion at Queens is a 302-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Flushing, Queens. Our mission is to provide the highest level of care for each of our residents. We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide quality resident care under the direction of the Registered Nurse and/or Unit Supervisor.

• Measure and record residents' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.

• Monitor residents' conditions and observe their responses to treatments and medications.

• Document resident care, monitor fluid intake and output, and maintain accurate medical records.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, including injections, enemas, and wound care.

• Collect specimens for laboratory testing as assigned.

• Provide emotional support and promote residents' comfort and well-being.

• Communicate with residents' families and friends regarding care, concerns, and instructions as appropriate.

• Report changes in residents' conditions to the Registered Nurse or Unit Supervisor.

• Work collaboratively with nursing staff to ensure residents receive safe, compassionate care.

• Current New York State LPN license.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to recognize changes in residents' conditions.

• Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively with nursing staff and coordinate resident care.

• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality resident care.

• Leadership and supervisory abilities preferred.
