Take your pediatric critical care expertise to the next level with a Per Diem PICU RN opportunity in a high-acuity pediatric environment. This role is ideal for an experienced PICU nurse with Level IV experience and advanced cardiac and ECMO skills.
Position Highlights- Profession: RN
- Specialty: PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
- Job Type: Per Diem
- May float to Pediatric and NICU units as needed
- Active NY RN License
- Minimum 2 years of PICU experience within the past 3 years
- Level IV PICU experience required
- Cardiac PICU experience required
- ECMO experience requiredBLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Experience with Bubble CPAP
- Experience with high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV)
- Experience with total body cooling/Tecotherm
- Experience with nasal intubation
- Experience with VADs, including Berlin Ikus, Berlin Active Driver, Impella, or Centri Mag
- Experience with CRRT using Prismax
- Post-transplant care experience
- For NICU cardiac assignments, Cardiac PICU or NICU experience is required
- Must be comfortable caring for complex pediatric cardiac and critically ill patients
