First Patient: 8:00 AM

Last Patient: 3:00 PM

Approximately 8-9 Patients Per Day

Outpatient Pre-Operative Visits

Patients Are Not Undergoing Surgery the Same Day

• Perform Pre-Operative Evaluations and Optimization for Upcoming Surgical Patients
• Review History and Physicals and Relevant Patient Information
• Perform Chart Reviews and Data Collection
• Utilize Established Pre-Operative Optimization Protocols and Resources
• Identify Clinical Concerns and Make Appropriate Referrals as Needed
• Coordinate Care With the Surgery and Anesthesia Teams
• Ensure Patients Are Appropriately Prepared and Optimized for Upcoming Procedures

• Orthopedics

• No Procedure-Based Skills Required

Epic Experience Required

• Board Certified

• New York License in Hand

• Active BLS
  - Required
• AHA or RQI Certifications Required
• Appropriate APP Experience in a Pre-Operative / Pre-Anesthesia Setting
• Epic Experience
