American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Outpatient OB/GYN Clinic position requiring prior travel experience and a current NY RN license.
Requirements- Active NY RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Experience with women's health and OB/GYN procedures including pelvic exams, Pap smears, EFM, and prenatal complications
- Skilled in specimen collection, medication administration (IM/SubQ), and blood glucose monitoring
- Experience with office duties including insurance verification, scheduling, and telephone triage
- One professional reference required
- Outpatient clinic setting within an OB/GYN practice
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours (7:00 AM-5:00 PM)
- Charting completed in Epic
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
- Responsibilities include patient teaching, medication refills, follow-up calls, and assisting with in-office procedures
- Supports high-risk OB and general OB/GYN patient populations
- Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
- COVID vaccine and booster required, with exemptions allowed only for religious or medical reasons
- Local candidates not accepted if residing within 75 miles of the facility
- Former staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
- Up to 7 days of requested time off may be auto-approved
