Registered Nurse, Long Term Care (Evening Shift)

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Long Term Care (Evening Shift) in Waterloo, New York.

Waterloo, NY

This is a 13-week contract position.

Part Time Evenings, with 2 to 3 shifts weekly and every other weekend and holiday coverage required.

The RN Supervisor will oversee the operation of the nursing units under the direction of the Director of Nursing for Long Term Care settings. This role entails providing clinical supervision and support to staff, ensuring quality resident care through teaching and mentorship, and effectively communicating with nursing leadership regarding unit concerns and needs.

Provide clinical supervision to nursing staff on respective shifts.

Ensure quality resident care through training and support of staff.

Communicate with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers regarding unit matters.

Make administrative decisions in the absence of nursing leadership.

Collaborate effectively with medical staff and other departments.

Facilitate a positive team environment and model professional behavior.

Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure.

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care settings.

Previous supervisory or clinical lead experience across multiple units.

BLS certification required through AHA or RQI during clinical orientation.

CPI certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
