Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. This role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, assessing and evaluating patient needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and educating patients and caregivers. The nurse will also focus on quality and safety practices, operational efficiency, and professional development.
Required Qualifications:
- NYS RN License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- 2 years Med/Surg experience
- EPIC experience highly preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred (Associate degree considered with relevant experience or active matriculation in a BSN program)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year travel experience for travel positions (not required for Per Diem positions)
