We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic RN Educator to join our team at Chestnut Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Oneonta, NY. As a valued member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare by providing education to new employees, clinical competency training and evaluation of nursing staff, and implementing education programs for Certified Nursing Assistants.

• Provide general orientation to all new employees
• Conduct clinical competency training and evaluation of nursing staff
• Coordinate guest educators for programs, such as IVs and Respiratory
• Implement education programs for Certified Nursing Assistants per the education calendar
• In-service education of all employees as needed

• Enthusiasm and eagerness to teach
• Clinical competency with basic nursing care
• Ability to work independently and anticipate educational need
• Eagerness to learn new skills and participate in our Train the Trainer programs

• 2-year experience in Long-term care
• Current NYS Registered Professional Nurse
• CPR certified

• Train the Trainer program for NYS DOH Certified Nursing Assistant program
• Training for education initiatives
• Ongoing training programs
