You’re a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) who takes pride in your work and your profession. You’re not just here to “help the doctor” — you want to be an integral part of the medical team. You love learning new things, supporting others, and bringing calm confidence to even the busiest days.

As an LVT at Countryside Animal Hospital, you’ll use your full range of technical skills every day. That includes:

• Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Dental cleanings and charting
• Venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and lab sample collection
• Diagnostic imaging (radiographs, lab tests, and more)
• Client communication and education
• Supporting doctor(s) with procedures and patient care
• Mentoring and supporting assistants and new hires
• Maintaining accurate records and hospital flow

• Active LVT license in the state of New York (or eligibility to obtain one)
• 1+ years of experience preferred, but we welcome new graduates with great attitude and coachability
• Solid clinical and communication skills
• Comfort with technology and modern PIMS systems
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and handle a fast‑paced workday with a smile
