* QUALIFICATIONS:

**- Current crop production experience in small grains, hay, and/or row crop required   - Agronomy skills would be a huge plus to go with spray application skills   - Strong understanding of Precision, Mapping, and Prescription Farming a plus, ability to learn is a must   - Routine maintenance and general repairs are commonplace   - Spraying a plus, planting and harvest experience a plus   - Animal health, experience around the Cow/Calf and/or Seasonal Back grounding operation would be huge plus   - Ability to be flexible during busy seasons, slower times as well.

Willing to jump in to assist with feeding and winter livestock care   - Maintain a good attitude, work both independently as well as with a team, and have strong communication skills

* JOB DESCRIPTION:

** Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting this diverse South Dakota operation seeking an experienced Equipment Operator. Need a person with farm/ranch equipment operation experience including plant and harvest equipment during the year as well as feeding and bale processing during the winter months. Preference is for an all-around individual with diverse production skills, experience, and a willingness to jump in where needed.

The right person will spend most time in the outdoors working with the farming operation, agronomy, equipment operation, but will also assist with back grounding and cow/calf operation, so being flexible with skill set is a plus. The position is open to many work scenarios depending on what may be the best fit. Salary will be based on experience, skill set, stability, and references.

Willing to work with a younger person that has stability and references and want to prove themself with a good advancement opportunity. This is not a position for someone that needs a job, this is for someone that wants to better their career in challenges, benefits, and wages. Location is quiet and remote, but great location for raising a family, with good schools and away from those influences that come with a large city.
