Taconic Veterinary Center, part of the Suveto network of hospitals, is looking for experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our team.

Position: Full-Time & Part-Time Veterinary Technician

We are a busy general practice and emergency animal hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care to our furry patients and outstanding service to their owners. Our team values collaboration, compassion, and continued education, creating a supportive environment for our staff.

We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, offering 24-36 hours per week. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients in both GP and ER settings.

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures
• Perform diagnostic tests and laboratory work
• Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
• Administer medications and treatments as directed
• Provide excellent client communication and education
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

• Valid NYS Veterinary Technician license
• Experience in a general practice or emergency setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development

• Full-Time: 36-40 hours/week
• Part-Time: 24-28 hours/week
• 1 weekend per month and rotating holidays required

• Hourly pay range: $25-$30 per hour, commensurate with experience
