A progressive partner hospital in Long Island, NYis seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their dedicated and compassionate team. This role is ideal for veterinarians with experience in emergency or overnight care who are looking for a high-impact position without the high cost of emergency clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver urgent care for canine and feline patients (e.g., wound management, GI issues, ear infections, euthanasia)

  • Administer treatments, perform diagnostics, and communicate care plans to clients

  • Collaborate with a team using a cloud-based EMR system

  • Ensure high-quality, compassionate care with every case

Requirements
  • DVM/VMD or completion of ECFVG/PAVE

  • Active NY veterinary license (or eligibility)

  • 1–2 years’ experience in emergency/urgent care

  • Strong decision-making and communication skills

  • Team-focused mindset with the ability to work independently
