Miller Place Animal Hospital is looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our dynamic team. We are a well-established hospital located in North Shore of Long Island, NY. We are an AAHA Accredited Hospital, and we are looking to expand our services.
We are seeking a veterinarian who not only has compassion for animals, but also understands the human-animal bond, and cares about the needs of pet owners as well. Our hospital provides a supportive environment where our doctors can practice high quality modern medicine.
Our doctors have access to in-house and reference labs, digital x-ray (including dental), cold therapy laser, and ultrasound. We have three licensed technicians to help our doctors, and we have a 4.1 ratio of team member to doctor.
Miller Place, NY has a lot to offer a veterinarian. For outdoor enthusiasts we have two miles of beach to explore and swim in as well as local parks and trails for hiking and exercise. There are several close towns to offer dining and “night life.”

Our hospital is open Monday through Saturday with no after-hours requirements. We want our doctors to have a “work/life balance” and allow a flexible schedule to be coordinated with other doctors. We promote a good work environment and culture. We have monthly team meetings to promote good communication within our team.
2-3 years of experience is preferred, but we encourage new graduates to apply. We would love to be able to provide mentorship for new graduates when needed.
