The Nunda Veterinary Clinic is currently seeking a Full time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing practice. We are a small 1 full time DVM animal hospital with occasional relief DVM help. We are located in Nunda, NY where we only treats cats and dogs. Our business hours are Monday - Thursday 7am to 6pm and Friday 7am to 5pm.
The facility is fairly new, built in 2016 with many pieces of state of the art equipment.
At the Nunda Veterinary Clinic we strive to accommodate flexible scheduling in order to promote a healthy work-life balance. As a clinic we use a team orientated approach; this allows us to be proactive in mental health awareness to help avoid burn out. For the safety of our patients and staff we take pride on being fear free orientated. Our purpose is to provide quality compassionate care to pets, their families, and the community.
The right candidate would be compassionate about animals and their quality of care, able to multitask, approachable/out-going with clients and all staff members, organized, flexible with scheduling, able to communicate in a professional manner, and willing to adapt to a continuously changing environment. They must also possess a LVT degree and have passed the licensing exam, and or will be graduating soon and taking the licensing exam.
Candidate should be willing to learn and we are willing to train the right person.
Daily tasks would include assisting the Veterinarian with appointments and surgery, running and sending out lab work, hospitalized patient care, client communications, filling and calling in pharmacy medications, and general facility cleanliness.
