Veterinary Surgeon – Brewster

Salary: $250,000 - $300,000
Location: New York
Schedule: Full-time with elective and emergency surgical coverage

A top-tier veterinary specialty and emergency referral hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Surgeon to join a multidisciplinary team delivering world-class surgical care.

This role offers exposure to routine and complex cases across orthopedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery
.

• Perform advanced surgical procedures including orthopedic, soft tissue, oncologic, thoracic/cardiopulmonary, and neurologic surgeries.

• Provide care for emergency surgical cases as part of a 24/7 specialty hospital.

• Collaborate with internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, and ICU teams for comprehensive patient care.

• Maintain clear communication with clients and referring veterinarians throughout surgical treatment and recovery.

• Operate in a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital

• Three advanced surgical suites, fully equipped ICU, and specialty surgical support staff

• Access to MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and digital radiography

• High-volume referral caseload from across New York and Connecticut

• Participate in a culture of innovation, education, and community support

• DACVS or Residency-Trained in Veterinary Surgery

• Experienced in complex soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries

• Collaborative approach with referring veterinarians and multidisciplinary teams

• Passionate about advanced surgical care and improving patient outcomes
