The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is seeking a Conservation Operations Supervisor 1 (COS1) to support our recreation program by supervising campground staff and managing day-to-day operations.
This role includes overseeing maintenance and minor construction activities, procuring supplies, tracking reports, and coordinating with NYWORKS and Capital projects. A working supervisor for small crews, the COS1 helps ensure safe, efficient DEC facilities and outdoor experiences.
