Our client is a small animal hospital looking for a full-time Medical Director to provide care for cats and dogs. This opportunity combines continued clinical practice with the ability to shape the hospital's direction and medical quality, supported by established technology, facilities and a talented team. The Medical Director will continue practicing veterinary medicine while establishing the hospital's clinical direction and standards of medical care.
The role offers the opportunity to influence the practice as an owner would, with backing from experts in operations, marketing, human resources and payroll. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
The hospital is AAHA-accredited and offers hands-free radiology. Services include primary and preventative care, cardiology, cold laser therapy, dermatology, digital radiology, EKG, soft tissue surgery, Tonopen eye pressure testing and ultrasound. Hospital opening hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm, and Saturday, 8:00am-12:00pm.
The hospital has three DVMs supported by a strong, well-tenured support team. Support staff are skilled in their work and provide valuable assistance to the veterinary team.
Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
