As a Guide at Othership, you'll have the incredible responsibility of delivering transformative experiences for our Journeyers. Your role is to welcome and facilitate Journeyers through the sauna and ice baths, weaving magic and inspiring awe with uniquely curated programming such as breathwork, towel waving, essential oils, visualizations and more.

Your confidence, creativity and knowledge will create a supportive environment, encouraging vulnerability, inner exploration and fostering deep connections.

By becoming a Guide, you'll both experience personal growth and be the conduit for transformation in others every single day.

• Othership is specifically looking for Guides who are able to confidently lead Free Flow + Social + Support the teaching Guide in their classes, this is considered a Path 1 Guide. Path 1 Guides may be given the opportunity to audition to becomes a Path 2 guide which unlocks Class teaching opportunities.
• We're open from 7 a.m. to 12 a.m., so we're seeking broad availability - especially early weekday mornings, weekend mornings and afternoons, and Friday and Saturday nights to cover our Social Shifts.
• This role demands physical endurance, emotional intelligence, cellular commitment, creativity and an unwavering passion for helping others.
• We are hiring for both the Flatiron and Brooklyn locations (slightly favouring Brooklyn availability)

During our Free Flow & Social offerings, Journeyers have 75-120 minutes in the space to move through the sauna and ice bath at their own pace—they're the captains of their own adventures. As a Free Flow & Social Guide, you'll embody the Othership spirit, serving as the main point of contact and ensuring every Journeyer feels both excited and fully supported.

As a Free Flow & Social Guide you will be responsible for:

• Welcoming & guest care:
  Greet Journeyers warmly, strike up conversations, answer questions, suggest classes, and create magic moments that enhance their experience.
• Emotional attunement:
  Listen actively, hold a supportive space, and respond with empathy to the unique perspectives and needs of each individual.
• Sauna stewardship:
  Add water to the stove, craft essential-oil snowballs, wave towels, monitor temperature, and lead 5-minute awe-inspiring mini-classes sprinkled throughout the session.
• Cold-space curation:
  Guide and encourage participants through their ice-bath experiences, ensuring safety, comfort, and transformation.
• Operational excellence:
  Arrive on time, prepared, and reliable - weekend and evening availability required.
• Vibe maintenance:
  Curate music and lighting to match the session’s energy, tidy the sauna, clear wet towels and tea cups, squeegee floors, and keep all spaces immaculate.
• Shift coordination:
  Typically work 3-5-hour Free Flow shifts paired with a 1.83-hour Support Guide role to ensure seamless class flow and guest care.
