Job OverviewJE Technology Solutions, a designer and manufacturer of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment, is seeking a skilled Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and support our mission of delivering high‑quality, on‑time products to our customers. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail‑oriented, able to work at a fast pace, and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of welding processes and finished products to ensure compliance with AWS industry standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess weld quality and integrity.
- Perform quality audits and maintain accurate and detailed inspection records.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Provide coaching, training, and guidance to welders and team members on quality assurance practices and inspection standards.
- Analyze inspection results and quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in improving inspection processes, documentation, and quality control procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and actively participate in quality‑related meetings and reviews.
- Five years of related experience and/or training in welding or weld inspections, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for Steel & Aluminum.
- Proven experience as a Certified Welding Inspector (AWS) or similar role in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality control processes.
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Require minimal supervision to plan and schedule workload.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Certified welding inspection through the American Welding Society (AWS): 2 years (Required).
- Manufacturing engineering or industrial quality experience: 2 years (Required).
Onsite – Apopka, FL – Reliable commute to work is required.
Work ScheduleFull‑time, First shift, Monday through Thursday, 40 hours weekly (start time 5:00 a.m.). Schedule may vary based on company needs.
