The Traveling Jewelry QA Specialist will visit manufacturing partners in the NY/NJ area to perform hands‑on quality checks on in‑process and finished jewelry. This role strengthens vendor accountability, ensures consistent craftsmanship, and supports a best‑in‑class customer experience.

Location:

NY/NJ region (frequent vendor travel required; no overnight stays)

Status:
Full-time

• Visit partner facilities to perform on‑site inspections.
• Review in-process and completed pieces against QC standards.
• Verify stone setting, metal work, sizing, and surface finish accuracy.
• Document results with photos and clear pass/fail notes.
• Identify workmanship issues and recurring trends; elevate when needed.
• Partner with vendors to address and resolve quality concerns.
• Support random outbound and return audit program.
• Provide weekly reporting on inspections, findings, and recommendations.

• 3+ years experience in fine jewelry QC or bench jewelry.
• Strong understanding of stone setting, polishing, casting, and assembly.
• Skilled with loupe, calipers, and standard inspection tools.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Professional communication with vendors and internal teams.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel frequently within NY/NJ.

• Experience working with multiple vendors or suppliers.
• Understanding of diamond and gemstone quality standards.
• Background in luxury or high-volume jewelry manufacturing.
