Job Title: Quality Control Tech
Location: Orangeburg New York 10962
Duration: 3 months
Shift time: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Description- This is a Metrology based position involving the use of various hand tools and some semi-automated tools (calipers, micrometers, surface roughness gages, etc.).
- The position will encompass the 3 departments that make up Quality Control (Final Inspection, Incoming/In-Process inspection and NDT - Non Destructive Testing).
- Nice to have experience using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Interest in learning various equipment in the 3 departments.
- The ability to read blueprints would be helpful but not necessary.
- Would be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a fast paced technical environment.
- Able to lift up to 40lbs on your own.
- Comfortable using computers.
