Position: Manual QA Analyst - P&C Insurance REQUIRED (3+Years)

Manual QA Analyst (Property & Casualty Insurance)
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Analyst with strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance experience to join a high-performingtechnology team supporting underwriting and insurance platforms. This role will focus heavily on manual testing (90%) with limited exposure to test automation (10%), ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of business-critical applications and APIs.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing insurance systems, working within Agile environments, and leveraging tools such as Azure Dev Ops (ADO) and Postman.

Experience with Playwright is highly desirable and will be considered a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts.

Validate business workflows across underwriting, policy administration, and insurance-related applications.

Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing.

Test REST APIs using Postman, including request validation, response verification, and data integrity checks.

Create, track, and manage defects within Azure Dev Ops (ADO).Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other QA team members throughout the SDLC.Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

Support automation initiatives and contribute to automated testing efforts when applicable.

Analyze requirements and user stories to ensure adequate test coverage.

Document testing results and communicate quality risks and release readiness.

Required Qualifications 3+ years of Quality Assurance or Software Testing experience.

Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance experience is required.

Strong background in manual software testing (90% of role).Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and validation.

Experience utilizing Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for test management, defect tracking, and Agile project delivery.

Experience testing underwriting platforms, policy administration systems, rating systems, or other insurance technology applications.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing lifecycle, and defect management processes.

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Playwright automation testing.

Exposure to automated testing frameworks and scripting.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Understanding of underwriting operations and policy lifecycle workflows within P&C insurance.
