Location:
Utica, NY Starting Salary: $115,000+ per year
Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality strategy and execution at our liquid-cooling manufacturing and distribution site in Utica.
Responsibilities Lead site quality programs, QMS, audits, CAPA, corrective actions, and customer quality initiatives.
Drive defect prevention, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Manage quality KPIs, supplier quality, nonconforming materials, MSA, SPC, and calibration.
Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve product and process quality.
Lead and develop the quality team while building a strong quality culture.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field.
7+ years of manufacturing quality experience.
3+ years of quality leadership/team management experience.
Strong knowledge of QMS, audits, CAPA, SPC, MSA, calibration, and supplier quality.
Proven experience with root cause analysis and cross-functional problem solving.
ASQ or Six Sigma certification preferred.
Success in This Role Success will be measured through improvements in customer complaints, quality escapes, internal defects, first-pass yield, scrap/rework, corrective action effectiveness, audit performance, QMS compliance, and supplier quality.
The role requires regular presence on the manufacturing/warehouse floor, use of required PPE, participation in audits and Gemba walks, and occasional schedule flexibility for customer priorities, launches, audits, or critical quality issues.
