Apollo Optical Systems is seeking a Quality Control Technician t o join our team. The QC Technician performs inspections and completes required documentation per Apollo Optical Systems quality plans, including in-process, First Piece, and other assigned inspections. The position also works to promote problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities- Write CMM programs on Zeiss CMM using Calypso software
- Work with engineering relating to fixture design
- Write part inspection plans
- Measure First Article Inspections and create reports
- Perform QC inspections using hand gages, Zeiss CMM, profilometer, interferometer, and measuring microscope
- Charting and controlling nonconforming product
- Receiving inspections
- Promote problem resolution through strong communication
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous inspection experience, including optical measurements
- CMM experience and proficiency with Zeiss Calypso software is a plus
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Excel required
