About the Role

This role is ideal for an experienced Quality Assurance professional who is ready to deepen their expertise, expand their regulatory knowledge, and grow into a broader leadership position. The Quality Assurance Manager plays a key role in ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across multiple quality and safety programs, while working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

The position offers hands‑on exposure to aviation quality systems, regulatory audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. It is well suited for someone who enjoys working in a structured, compliance‑driven environment and is motivated to build new skills in quality systems management, auditing, and organizational leadership.

Our partner, a specialist in aircraft component repairs, has an excellent reputation for providing high‑quality aircraft wing maintenance and operates as a key face of the Miami MRO market for over 40 years.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and continuously improve all Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and certification requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation of updates across relevant certifying authorities (FAA, EASA, UK, CAAC, and others).
  • Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal audits; document findings, track corrective actions, and report results to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control personnel to ensure training programs, manuals, and records remain current and compliant.
  • Participate in and lead annual product and process audits required by regulatory agencies, including on‑site assessments.
  • Serve as a backup facilitator for quality and compliance‑related training sessions.
  • Act as a liaison between Quality, Engineering, Production, and Leadership teams to communicate regulatory updates and quality expectations.
  • Support audits and evaluations of manufacturing and testing processes during customer visits or regulatory inspections.
  • Assist with implementation and maintenance of workplace organization and efficiency programs (5S), as needed.
  • Identify, document, and support resolution of quality process discrepancies.
  • Promote and reinforce a strong safety and compliance culture throughout the organization.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable Safety Management System (SMS) requirements.
  • Coordinate with senior leadership on external audits and compliance activities; recommend improvements to facilities, safety systems, or processes.
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing quality trends, warranty data, and discrepancies to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to quality‑related projects and initiatives that support long‑term operational excellence.
Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience working within aviation quality, regulatory compliance, or a related quality assurance environment.
  • Familiarity with aviation regulations and quality standards; A&P license is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
Spanish language skills are a plus.
