Akkodis is seeking an Quality Assurance Technician for a Contract position with a client located in Fairport NY. We are looking for focuses on quality inspections, blueprint reading, precision measurements, documentation, and ensuring products meet specifications before shipment..
Pay Range: $30/hr - $32/hr on W2 (The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Work Setup: Onsite, Monday–Friday - 1st Shift 100% Onsite
Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician
- Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAI) as required per documentation and procedures.
- Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
- Present FAI findings to all applicable stakeholders.
- Review prints, plans, and specifications to understand product and service requirements.
- Perform Receiving Inspection as needed.
- Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare finished products to specifications.
- Escalate quality control concerns to improve product excellence and drive timely resolution.
- Inspect a variety of units using measuring and inspection instruments, including:
- CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
- Micrometers
- Calipers
