Job Description
Eenhoorn , a West Michigan Property Management company, is currently in the process of acquiring a brand new, Class A, luxury high‑rise condo located at the nexus of Tribeca, the Civic Center, and the Financial District in Lower Manhattan in New York City. In anticipation of this acquisition, we are seeking an experienced, professional Leasing Manager that has a history of providing superior customer service, a proven track record of success in leasing up, and driving occupancy and revenue.
In this role, you'll be responsible for driving occupancy, optimizing rental income, and ensuring a seamless resident experience from first contact to move‑in. This is a pivotal, client‑facing role that blends strategic thinking, sales acumen, and leadership. The individual in this position must possess strong communication skills and display a high sense of urgency and energy.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
- Oversee all leasing activity, including tours, applications, screenings, and lease execution.
- Monitor market trends and conduct competitive analysis to adjust pricing and promotions.
- Collaborate with marketing to design and implement effective outreach and advertising campaigns, to attract new residents and enhance our brand.
- Maintain accurate records in property management/leasing software.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
- Build strong relationships with prospects, residents, and internal stakeholders.
- Support renewal efforts and help reduce turnover through proactive resident engagement.
- Monitoring the property’s curb appeal, common areas and leasing office; inspecting daily to meet Eenhoorn’s standards.
- Entering and maintaining accurate resident, prospect, and unit make‑ready information in property management software and physical files.
- Assist in executing leases and lease renewals accurately and timely.
- Preparing monthly reports for upper‑level management's review.
- Conducting resident orientations and resident events.
- Inspecting units during turns to ensure staff and vendors meet quality standards.
- Promoting a culture of professionalism, accountability, self‑regulation, image, honesty, and integrity.
- Participating in other projects and activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- 3+ years of leasing or property management experience.
- Strong understanding of NYC rental market and local housing regulations.
- Proficiency with CRM and property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, Real Page).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule as required.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding leasing goals in a fast‑paced market.
- Strong understanding of Landlord/Tenant laws in the market of the portfolio.
