Company OverviewA high-end residential real estate company managing luxury apartment buildings is seeking an experienced operations-focused leader to oversee the leasing office and move-in process. The portfolio serves a high-touch tenant base and requires strong execution, organization, and people management to ensure a seamless resident experience from first showing through move-in.
Position OverviewThe Leasing & Move-In Operations Manager owns the full pre-move-in lifecycle — from apartment showings and applications through lease execution, keys, and move‑in readiness. This role manages the leasing office team and move‑in coordinators, ensuring all processes run smoothly, milestones are hit, and details are never missed.
This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring prior real estate office experience and the ability to manage and motivate a predominantly team with professionalism, clarity, and respect.
The Ideal CandidateBackground in real estate, leasing, or property management
Proven people-management experience
Highly organized, proactive, and execution-focused
Comfortable leading and working closely with women
Approachable, respectful, and able to drive accountability
Capable of taking a vision and turning it into structured, repeatable process
Oversee daily leasing office operations
Ensure apartments are shown properly and professionally
Monitor leasing activity, follow-ups, and application flow
Maintain a high-touch, responsive client experience
Own the move‑in process from lease signing to key handoff
Ensure units, keys, paperwork, and vendors are ready on time
Coordinate with move‑in coordinators, maintenance, and handymen
Eliminate last‑minute issues and breakdowns
Directly manage 3 leasing agents and 3 move‑in coordinators
Set clear expectations, workflows, and accountability
Identify performance gaps and implement improvements
Be present and hands‑on — not just oversight
Build structure where gaps currently exist
Ensure all paperwork and approvals are completed accurately
Push execution, deadlines, and follow‑through
Serve as the point person ensuring nothing slips
Experience in a real estate or property management office
Management experience required
Strong operational, organizational, and follow‑up skills
Professional, calm, and people‑oriented leadership style
