Job Description:

A well-established New York City real estate owner and manager is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to oversee a large affordable housing portfolio spanning multiple boroughs. The ideal candidate will bring substantial NYC property management experience, deep familiarity with affordable housing, and the ability to lead a geographically dispersed team while maintaining strong operational standards across a complex portfolio.

Key Responsibilities Required experience overseeing a large, multi-property affordable housing portfolio. Lead and manage approximately 10 direct reports. Ensure property teams are operating efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with company expectations. Ensure properties remain compliant with applicable city, state, federal, and affordable housing agency requirements. Coordinate with regulatory agencies, including HPD and other relevant governmental entities. Partner with asset management and senior leadership on portfolio strategy and operational priorities.

Monitor staffing, performance, and team effectiveness across assigned properties. Utilize Yardi and other property management systems to support portfolio oversight. Travel regularly throughout the portfolio to maintain visibility and direct engagement with onsite teams.
